Who we are

This website, andhrabiblecollege.in, is operated by Andhra Bible College, an independent theological institution run by Andhra Bible Educational Society, Vanguru, Eluru. In this policy "ABC", "we" and "us" mean the college and the Society.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to admit, teach and serve students:

• Application details: name, date of birth, contact details, program of interest, education history and mark lists, a personal testimony, two recommendation letters, a medical questionnaire, a copy of a government ID and passport photos.
• Student records: enrolment, attendance, grades, Christian service reports and fee records.
• Payment details: when you pay online, the payment is processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. We receive confirmation of the payment (amount, date, reference number) but we do not see or store your card, UPI or bank account details.
• Online learning: your login and activity on our learning portal (abcelr.moodlecloud.com), such as lectures viewed, assignments and exam submissions.
• Messages: anything you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp.

How we use it

• To assess applications and communicate admission decisions.
• To run classes, online modules, examinations and transcripts.
• To issue fee receipts, process refunds and award scholarships.
• To care for students on campus, including in a medical emergency.
• To meet the documentation requirements of our accrediting body, the Asia Theological Association (India).
• To send college news to alumni and supporters who have agreed to receive it.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only:

• with Razorpay, to process payments;
• with the service providers that host our website, email and learning portal, under their own privacy terms;
• with the Asia Theological Association (India) or other institutions, when you ask us to verify your studies or transfer credits;
• when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Academic records and transcripts are kept permanently so we can verify your studies in future. Applications from people who do not enrol, and payment records, are kept only as long as needed for our records and for accounting and legal requirements.

Your choices

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or stop receiving news emails at any time. Write to us at the address below.

Security

Records are kept in the college office and on password-protected systems that only authorised staff can access. No website is completely secure, so please do not send card or bank details to us by email.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
